Primary Five marked World Mental Health Day by taking part in a series of activities focused on wellbeing. Pupils completed listening exercises to build focus and awareness, followed by yoga to support relaxation and movement. They also took part in a dance session to encourage physical activity and self expression. To finish, each child illustrated their “happy place” - a space where they feel safe and cared for. The whole school began the day with assembly led by Mrs Currie, which focused on the importance of mental health. Thank you Mrs Currie, who kindly provided a lovely breakfast for all the staff to begin our day. It was a positive and practical day for everyone involved!
