World Mental Health Day – Friday 10th October
On Friday 10th October, our school will come together to celebrate World Mental Health Day. This important occasion offers us a chance to raise awareness about mental health and highlight the importance of supporting one another.
We will begin the day with a special assembly where students will explore what mental health means and learn practical ways to care for themselves and others. Throughout the day, a variety of activities will be offered to promote well-being and foster a supportive, inclusive school environment.
This will be a non-uniform day, and we invite all children to wear something yellow—a colour that symbolises hope and positivity. We also kindly ask for a £1 cash donation per child, which will go to a fantastic charity dedicated to mental health support.
Thank you for helping us make this day both meaningful and impactful. Together, we can build a school community that truly values and prioritises mental health.
