We are incredibly proud to celebrate the fantastic achievements of two of our pupils, Alfie and Harrie, who travelled to Belfast last weekend to represent Cookstown Youth in a football tournament.
Both boys showed great determination, skill and teamwork throughout the competition. In a thrilling semi-final, captain Harrie held his nerve to score the decisive penalty in a shootout, securing his team’s place in the final.
The excitement didn’t stop there – the team went on to win the tournament, with Harrie proudly lifting the shield as captain! 🏆
This is a wonderful accomplishment and a testament to their hard work, commitment and passion for sport. Alfie and Harrie have represented themselves, their team and our school with great pride.
