In Nursery we are learning about People Who Help Us. Pippa's daddy is a Postman.
He came to Nursery to tell us about his job. He showed us a video and a sequence of pictures about what happens to a letter when we post it into a postbox.
He brought some of the things he uses to do his job - a torch, post bag, mail bag, hi-vis jackets, hat and gloves. We had great fun trying on some of his uniform.

When we went back to Nursery we drew a picture, put it in an envelope, wrote on our address and stuck on a stamp. Mrs Ferry and Miss Thompson will post them in the postbox. We will have to wait for the Postman to deliver our letters.
