It was Orritor Primary Two’s turn to host our shared play date with St Mary’s.
We read the story of The Three Little Pigs and then interviewed The Big Bad Wolf. His favourite food is apples and bananas… who would have thought?!
We had lots of stations ready to play in. Some of our favourites were:
🐷 The Estate Agents where we discussed settings and sold fairytale houses.
🐷 We painted character masks for the wolf and the pigs.
🐷 We made Lego mazes and ran our marble through.
🐺 We had a puppet theatre to retell the story of The Three Little Pigs.
🐷 We made recipes for The Three Little Pigs in our mud kitchen.
🐷 We enjoyed playing and making tracks for the wolf in the sand.
🐷 We worked at the wood shop using hammers and nails.
🐺 We built dens for the pigs using a variety of materials such as sticks, blocks and bricks.
🐷 We enjoyed playing in our small world farm.
🐷 We washed the mud of the pigs in the water tray.
🐷 We used the iPad to direct the wolf to the houses.
We are looking forward to our next play date with St Mary’s after Easter.
