On Thursday P1 boarded the bus for their play date with their little friends in St Marys. The day started with some singing and then Miss McFlynn told us a beautiful story entitled The Snail and the Whale which was all about friends. After our story we went on a number trail and then made our very own snail which we were able to eat. After that it was playtime. We got to visit the sand tray, build with the lego, work on a construction site, make beaded bracelets, decorate and paint some sea creatures to name just a few activities.
Next it was time for a delicious lunch followed by getting the bus to take us back to Orritor. Thank you Miss McFlynn, Edel and all of our little P1 friends for giving us the best day. We can’t wait for our next trip together.
