The Nursery children were so excited to travel by bus to see their friends at St. Peter's for our Aspire Shared Education. They couldn't wait to get to St. Peter's Nursery and had lots of fun playing together with their new friends at the beginning of the session.
The children split into their smaller groups and took part in a Fitminds session with Ronan. After a warm up the children had to work with their partners to find different colours throughout the room. They then played the crocodile game, all the children pretended to by asleep, on signal they had to jump up and try to get to safety (a hula hoop) all while the crocodiles (the grown ups) were trying the catch them. The children were very good a ducking, weaving and negotiating around the other children and grown ups.
The children were a bit sad when it was time to go home but they are looking forward to welcoming the children from St. Peters and Ronan back to Orritor next week.
The children were so good and we were so proud of them. Well done. Thank you so much to our parent helpers for making this trip possible.
