This week it was Orritor’s turn to visit St Mary’s for a shared play date and what a day we had. Whenever we arrived we were treated to a wonderful performance of Lord of the Dance and then we all had the chance to get our dancing shoes on and learn a little barn dance. After snack, it was play time where the lovely Miss McFlynn, Edel and Sabrina had set up super play activities at the construction, water tray, writing table and puppet theatre. At lunch time we all went to the dinner hall and then it was back to P.1 where Miss McFlynn told us some of the things Bridgey Bear had got up to whenever he was at St Mary’s and he was then given back to Orritor for his staycation there for a little while. Thank you for a fantastic day. The girls and boys from Orritor were very quiet little people going home on the bus yesterday and we are already looking forward to our next play date.
