Today Nursery enjoyed a lovely sunny morning of fun with Justin from Rugby Tots.
We warmed up by playing the traffic light game. We had to stop, get ready, go or score a try depending on what colour Justin held up.
Next we worked on our side passing. The children were excellent and listened so well to complete the complex passing drill. We definitely have some future rugby stars!
The next task was to practice our kicking, progressing from last week the children had to try and lift the ball up, kicking it through the hoop that Justin was holding.
Finally we all came together to play with the parachute. The children held the parachute themselves and tried to get the balls off. The children took it in turns to be the scrum halves, it was their job to try to throw the balls back on again as quickly as possible.
We can't wait for our next session with Justin next week!
