Reverend Blair Assembly
A special thank you to Reverend Blair for coming into school today to take our assembly. It has been great having him in with us throughout February, and the children have genuinely enjoyed listening to his talks about the Bible. Today he focused on the power of words—how they can be used to encourage and help, but also how they can hurt when used unkindly.
To demonstrate this, Reverend Blair asked Geoffrey to squeeze a tube of toothpaste onto a plate and then challenged James to try to put it back in. This simple activity clearly showed that once words are spoken, especially negative ones, they are hard to take back. The pupils were fully engaged and took the message on board.
Reverend Blair also helped present the Pupil of the Month Awards, which added a positive finish to the assembly. We appreciate his time, his clear messages, and the practical way he helps pupils understand important lessons.
