Primary Two had two lovely play dates with our friends from St Mary’s.
First of all we had a fantastic day in Orritor. We worked in pairs to make bug hotels. Our hotels were that fabulous bugs moved in straight away. We then had a play session based on all things Minibeasts. We planted cress, built Lego Minibeasts, made bug recipes in the mud kitchen and created beautiful art work. Finally we went up the pitch for a bug hunt. 🐞 🐛 🐜
We then had a lovely celebration day at Cookstown Leisure Centre. We played games with 33 activities and enjoyed ourselves at the play shack. It was a lovely way to complete our play dates this year. Thank you to all the P2 St Mary’s pupils, Mrs Crossley and Paula for being so welcoming this year and most importantly for being our friends. 🩷
