The Nursery children had lots of fun at our final session of Rugby Tots with Justin.
We warmed up by playing the toilet game. If we got a tag with the ball we had to sit on our knees with our arm out. Someone then had to come to flush the toilet to free whoever was tagged! The children loved this game and there was lots of fun and giggles!
We then worked on a passing drill. In a circle we had to pass the ball to try to beat the child who was running round the circle. This took a lot of attention and listening and team work skills.
Next we went onto tags! The children wore the tags and they had to dodge and weave round each other all whilst trying to take the other children's tags for themselves. The children were brilliant and negotiated each other very well.
Finally we came together for out teamwork challenge we had to pass the ball two ways, once down the line and then over our heads to get the ball all the way to the hoops to score a try. Both teams got one win each!
