🎭 A Golden Ticket Experience!
A huge thank you to Cookstown High School for inviting our Primary 7 pupils and staff to the matinee performance of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
The children were absolutely captivated — the singing, acting, and stage production were all top-notch! 🍫🎶👏

After-School Clubs
This was the penultimate week of our current After-School Clubs, and there’s been plenty of fun and activity!

Swimming Lessons
Primary 7 pupils continued their swimming lessons at Cookstown Leisure Centre, building confidence and improving their strokes.

Reverend Currie Assembly
A special thank you to Reverend Currie for joining us on Thursday and leading a thoughtful Harvest assembly.
The children listened intently and learned a lot. We’re looking forward to next week’s visit and our Pupil of the Month Assembly 🌾⭐

Ulster Hockey Blitz
Our girls and boys represented Orritor PS brilliantly at the Ulster Hockey Blitz held at Dungannon Royal School.
👏 A huge shout-out to all the children who played their first match for the school — what an achievement!
🙏 Thank you to all the parents who came to support, and to Mrs McGowan for her excellent coaching and encouragement.
💙 We’re so proud of every pupil — fantastic teamwork and sportsmanship!

Excellent 8: Resilience
This week, we focused on the value of Resilience — the ability to keep going, stay positive, and try our best even when things are tough.

Here’s how our pupils showed resilience:
