Book Fair Dear Parent/Guardian, just a reminder that we will be hosting the Scholastic Book Fair from Monday 13th May to Friday 17th May in Orritor Primary School. This is your opportunity to visit our school and purchase some books and stationery for your children. Nursery fine motor fun

This week in Nursery we have been working on our fine motor skills, the little muscles in our hands and wrists. The muscles we need to strengthen to hold our pencils.

 

We used grabbers, tongs and tweezers to catch split peas. We also used our pincer grip (thumb and forefinger) to catch the peas and place them in the holes in the wood slices, flower pots and colanders.

 

We had lots of fine motor fun.
