The Nursery children were so excited to welcome the children from St. Peters to our Nursery. They were also so excited to have Rachael from 33 Activities back to take a fun physical development session.
The children enjoyed a play together in Nursery before half the group went to the hall to see Rachael. Rachael had a fantastic session planned - focusing on superheroes! The children did a warm up to Simon Says - finding different ways to move and developing their listening skills. They then moved on to a Superhero warm up - moving in different ways and freezing on the spots.
Next the children had to work in pairs keeping a balloon up with different parts of their body. The children worked so well together and we were so proud.
The children then took part in a team work challenge - find the gold. The children had to negotiate an obstacle course to find the 'gold' at the end. Again all the children were fantastic and listened so well, working together as a team.
Finally after a quick warm down it was time to go back to Nursery for a play together. The children played so well with each other, interacting and having lots of fun. We are so proud of each and every one of you!
Sadly it was soon time for the St. Peters children to catch their bus back to Nursery. We can't wait to see them again after Easter.
