Nursery Aspire with Justin from Rugby Tots
26th Feb 2026
The Nursery had a very exciting trip to St. Peters Nursery Unit on Tuesday. The children loved going on the bus and they all sat so well with their seatbelts on. For a lot of children it was their first time on a bus and we were so proud of them.
When we arrived at St. Peters the children split into their two groups - one group stayed in Nursery to play and the other group went to a Rugby Tots session with Justin. We then swapped so all children could experience both activities.
All the children were very excited to see each other again. The children very quickly got reacquainted and soon settled to play together.
Justin's Rugby Tots session was so much fun. He focused on team work and ball skills. The children worked well together as a team passing the ball between each other and scoring tries. They then played a fantastic team work game running around the circle, finding their partner and crawling though their legs to get the ball. Finally we finished with all the soft rugby balls on the parachute, working together to get the balls off the parachute.
All to soon it was time for the bus journey back to Nursery. We can't wait to see our friends again in a few weeks. Well done to all the children for being so good and thank you to our two amazing parent helpers who made our trip possible - thank you!
