New friends

It has been a very busy few weeks in P.1. Last week we had some of our little friends from nursery over for a play date. P.1 girls and boys did a wonderful job of showing their friends around our class. 

We have been busy in our school work too. We have been thinking about 2 D shapes and trying to build shapes both inside and outside of the classroom. 
Love has also been in the air with Mrs Currie and Mrs Walmsley getting cards and peg boards decorated in a heart shape❤️.
We welcomed Miss Simpson into our class also and she has been teaching us some interesting things about the number 7.
Today we had our unusual school day and it really was a strange one with not a school bag in sight. 
We are now looking forward to a rest and no more school work.
