A massive well done to our amazing netball team who travelled to Magherafelt High School today to take part in a tournament against local schools. The girls were absolutely fantastic from start to finish and represented our school with great skill, teamwork and determination.
They showed wonderful composure and togetherness throughout the group stages, producing a series of excellent performances:
- 1st Game: vs Cookstown Primary School — won 8–0
- 2nd Game: vs Phoenix Integrated Primary School — won 8–0
- 3rd Game: vs Holy Family Primary School — won 5–0
- 4th Game: vs Moneymore Primary School — won 8–0
These thoughtful, hard‑working displays earned them a well‑deserved place in the semi-final, where they once again met Holy Family, winning 7–2 through focus, teamwork and clever play.
In the final, the girls faced a strong Woods Primary School side. After an exciting and competitive match, they showed tremendous composure and togetherness to secure a 4–1 victory and lift the tournament title.
This remarkable achievement is a testament to their commitment and all the training they have put in after school on Monday afternoons.
Well done girls — we are all incredibly proud of you!
