Reminder – School Closure
This is a reminder that school will be closed on Friday 24th April to allow for staff training.
There will be no pupils in attendance on this day. School will reopen as normal on Monday 27th April

Primary 5 have been working hard over the last few days with measurements and converting metres to centimetres.
Today they were given two tasks to complete.
Task 1: Measuring Around the Classroom
The first task focused on measuring items around the classroom and converting the measurements into centimetres. The children worked really well in their groups of three, taking their time to measure carefully and record the information accurately.
Task 2: Estimating Staff Heights
The second task involved estimating the height of teachers in the school. Both Mr Cheevers and Mrs McGowan were the first volunteers to have their heights guessed before being measured properly. This gave the children a chance to test their predictions and helped them make more educated guesses for the remaining staff. The children will find out on Friday just how accurate their estimations were.
