With the summer holidays fast approaching, we want to encourage all our pupils to keep up their reading habits! We are delighted to support Libraries NI’s Big Summer Read, running from 29 June to 31 August 2026.
This year's theme is The Story Tree, and it’s completely free to join. It’s a wonderful, flexible way for children to read whatever they love at their own pace. Plus, there are great incentives:
- Read 5 books = Get a special bookmark! - Read 10 books = Get a certificate (which we would love to celebrate back in school this September!).
How to join: Just pop into your local library starting June 29th to sign up.
