🪺 Egg-citing End to Term 2! 🐣

12th Apr 2025

Who was Humpty Dumpty? Did he fall or was he pushed?
Have you heard of Little Lumpty and the town of Dumpty?

P3 enjoyed singing the traditional nursery rhyme and listening to a Nursery Crime book!
They were then introduced to Lumpty, who, like Humpty Dumpty liked climbing on a wall, until he realised he couldn’t get down! They wrote their own endings to the story as to how Lumpty got down safely, ranging from jumping down onto giant marshmallows to bouncy castles!

Their Activity Based Learning tasks were linked to this theme; dramatising the rhyme, making an egg character from clay, animating Humpty Dumpty using J2Animate and building Easter objects with Lego.

Finally they finished with an Easter Egg Hunt on Friday. Well done to the winning teams! 🌟
