Help Us Grow Our School Eco Garden! 🌻🌷🌿
Our Eco Council are excited to be developing our school eco garden—a creative, hands-on space where children can connect with nature, explore sustainability, and take part in growing and caring for plants.
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our local council for their generous donation of compost. This thoughtful contribution will help us plant beautiful flowers and greenery around our school grounds, creating a vibrant environment for our students, staff, and visitors.
To help bring this project to life, we are kindly asking for donations of materials that can be reused and repurposed into garden features. Specifically, we’re looking for:
- Old tyres – Perfect for creating colourful, raised planters
- Wooden crates – Ideal for vegetable beds or decorative planting
- Plastic piping – To support our water play
- Plastic sheeting – For lining planters and protecting surfaces
- Plants – Any spare plants, herbs, or flowers you'd be happy to donate for our school grounds
Donating these items not only supports our school’s sustainability goals but also gives new life to materials that might otherwise go to waste.
If you have any of the above items at home or through work, we’d love to give them a new lease of life. Please drop off any materials you wish to donate before Wednesday 21st May.
Thank you for supporting our green vision and helping our garden grow!
