This morning we finally got to hear the name of the bear who had been residing in Orritor Primary School over the past few weeks. Sophie came and revealed that the bear was called Barney. Barney was a popular choice for 6 of our wonderful pupils and Sophie had to put the names of the children who had guessed correctly into a hat and pull out a name. The name chosen was Lewis from P.4. Congratulations to Lewis but also to Isabella, Polly, Tilly, Caleb and Dexter for guessing correctly.
Thank you to everyone who helped Sophie raise money for Saphara, an education charity which works with young people in Northern Ireland and India, inspiring young people through encounters with others and realising their potential locally and globally.
