It's that time of year again whenever P.1 get outdoors and begin to plant. We have started our topic on growth and so last week we planted sunflowers. The girls and boys have shown such an interest in this topic and there have been some wonderful discussions on how our plants and flowers grow and they have been able to use this knowledge during role play in our Garden Centre. The coins have been out this week also and whilst we are more familiar using credit cards or our phones to pay, P.1 have been working hard at counting out pennies and using money to buy things in the Garden Centre. Unfortunately we have worked out that whenever the purse is empty we can buy nothing else, something Mrs Walmsley and Mrs Currie are working on😊
