Festive Update

10th Dec 2020

A Few Reminders!

Can I remind everyone to be EXTRA vigilant over the next 2 weeks. A positive case in school from now onwards would result in many family Christmases being ruined, as people would be forced to self- isolate right up to, and including, Christmas Day.

No-one wants this to happen so please;

  • Tighten up on hand washing and sanitising.
  • Try to maintain your family ‘bubbles’ as best as possible.
  •
  • DO NOT send children in to school if they are showing, or you suspect they may have, ANY symptoms or signs of COVID.
  •
  • Children should not be in school if they have been sick that morning or during the night – it may not be COVID but we do not want any other sickness spreading in school. This is common sense.

The children have had great fun watching the Pantomime this morning - Oh yes they did! Cinderella was a big success!

Nursery have been having their Pyjama Day too!

Friday 11th Dec is a Non-uniform Day, and children are encouraged to wear Festive clothes (jumpers/hats/socks etc). A donation towards Charity will be collected on the day.

We hope to post a video of classes performing Christmas songs and poems before the end of next week also.

Parents of children hoping to start the Nursery or Primary 1, are reminded that the application process is online and opens on January 7th at noon. If you know of anyone in this category could you pass the word on and ask them also to email me their child’s details (Name, address, DoB, and a contact number) to kwright590@cskni.net . This is for school purposes only – they must still go online to apply!

For those interested, the Dungannon Music and Drams Festival has been cancelled this year (2021).

We finish on Tuesday 22nd December for Nursery at 10.15; and 10.30am (P1-3 plus siblings); 10.45am for all others P4-7. No buses on this day.  Please be punctual to avoid traffic jams!
