Well done to our girls’ netball team who took part in the Netball League B fixtures on Friday past at Dungannon Leisure Centre.
This was the girls’ first experience of league fixtures, and they should be extremely proud of their efforts. Despite their inexperience, they played some wonderful netball, showing great determination, teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the day.
The girls played three matches and, while they were unfortunate to lose all three, there was clear and encouraging progress from game to game, particularly when competing against much older and more experienced sides. Their improvement over the course of the fixtures was evident and commendable.
We are very proud of all the girls for representing our school so positively. A sincere thank you to Mrs McGowan for coaching and supporting the team on the day, and to the parents and guardians for transporting the children to the tournament. Your continued support is greatly appreciated.
