Busy times in Nursery.
The children in Nursery have had a busy few weeks...
- working on our jigsaw skills.
- using the magnetic boards and pens to move the little magnets.
- threading the rings and elastic bands onto the mug trees.
- pouring and using the turkey basters to move water.
- using knives to spread the jam on our pancakes for pancake day.
- building with the construction materials.
- using the magnets to make marble runs and robots.
- playing the musical instruments and working towards keeping a steady beat.
- using the oil pastels to draw our own version of Van Gogh's Starry Night.
- developing our pencil grip with a pen disco.
- drawing flowers from observation.
- balancing the loose parts and making patterns.
- making models and creations with the art resources.
- having a paint disco inspired by the art work of Jackson Pollock.
As you can see it has been another busy fortnight in Nursery. We can't wait for next week!
