Over the past few weeks P.1 have been super busy learning new letter sounds and doing some fun activities with the sounds. This week we were looking at the t sound and so we tried painting on tinfoil. That was tricky. Mrs Walmsley helped us to paint melted snowmen using shaving foam and glue after listening to a story about Sneezy the snowman who always felt the cold and tried to warm himself up by drinking hot cocoa, wearing lots of winter clothes to name but a few. Our topic this term is Winter so we have been outdoors looking for any signs of the season❄️
This week we had our first play date with the Nursery boys and girls and we all had a lovely play date. P.1 did a great job of making the little boys and girls so welcome and helping them whenever necessary.
