Autumn fun in Nursery 🍁🍂

🍁 The Nursery have been exploring the last of our autumn learning as autumn turns into winter. We were very excited by the snow and thought we had better put our Christmas tree up! 🎄

Here are some of the things we have been up to in Nursery

building with the blocks and construction toys - a castle, a Frozen palace and Santa's sleigh.
making leaf men with the autumn resources.
exploring clay with leaves, sticks, pinecones and pumpkins seeds. Watching as the clay hardens.
hammering with golf tees.
looking for leaves.
bird watching. We even saw Santa's little Robin.
exploring ramps.
problem solving and joining the large construction together.
talking about height and the language of comparison. Measuring tyre towers.
exploring construction with stickle bricks - boats, camper vans, gardens, giraffes and lots of other things.
using the watercolours to paint snowmen.
crushing the out of date cheerios with mortar and pestles, rollers and fruit strainers.
wearing our wellies for No Farmers, No food!
