Today the P7 class was responsible for taking assembly. We had thought about 'Good Choices' and 'Bad Choices' which we could be faced with in school. P7 had prepared some Choices which they shared with the younger children who were able to identify which choices would be the right ones to make.
We then thought about a person in the Bible, Jonah, who was faced with a choice. Initially Jonah made the wrong choice by going in a different direction rather than going to Nineveh. Eventually he learned by his mistake and did what God wanted him to do. P7 did a great job, through their Drama, sharing Jonah's story with the rest of the classes.
Great watching and listening by all the children today in Assembly!
Two P7 pupils shared a prayer before we sang a new song about Jonah. Everyone loved the actions and we had plenty of volume with 'Splash, splash, swish, swish, swish!'
