The Nursery had great fun with 33 Activities as part of their Shared Education.
The children all came together in Nursery for a play session. They then split into two groups with one group going to the hall to take part in a physical movement session with 33 Activities. The children had lots of fun moving in different ways. They also worked on their listening skills, playing Simon Says.
The children then moved on to work on their spatial awareness and their ability to negotiate space. They had their own 'bubble' and they had to make sure not to bump into anyone or the cones as that would pop their bubble!
Next up was a gross motor challenge, walking with a cone balanced on their hands with their other hand behind their backs! If the cone fell off it was a forfeit of 3 star jumps!
Finally there was a team work challenge, the children had to work together to put all the balls in the box while someone was trying to catch them. The children worked very well together and negotiated the space really well.
Finally it was back to Nursery for a final play before we had to say goodbye to the children from St. Peters. We can't wait to go on our trips in the new term and see our lovely new friends. A big thank you to 33 Activities for such a fun session that was full of learning. Finally a big thank you to our wonderful parent helpers who made the day possible.
