A very investigative week in Nursery… 🔍

This week in Nursery has brought lots of investigation!

Amongst other things we investigated

  • how water moves - we discovered that we can not move it up, it always moves down!
  • what we can make with the loose parts - a plane, a train, a boat...
  • how to carry the big loose parts safely and with control.
  • how to make water castles - castles with water all around them.
  • going on an adventure - bear hunts, bug hunts, reading adventures...
  • how slime moves with chia seed slime - very slowly and it is very sticky and slimy!
  • transient art with the light box and dough.
  • different types of bugs and mini-beasts - after we found our beetle last week we sorted bugs, made bug houses and bug patterns.
  • the different marks and pictures we could make with the paint sticks.
  • what we can build with the construction materials - can you see the digger with different attachments and the girl's Paw Patrol Tower in the photos?
