The Nursery children had so much fun with Rachael from 33 Activities.
Rachael worked on our listening skills - playing Simon says and encouraging good listening from the children.
Next the children worked on developing their spatial awareness - moving in and out of the hoops without touching them. The children moved in different ways through the hall, in and out of the hoops, running, jogging, jumping, skipping and hopping.
Then the children worked on their jumping skills - jumping in and out of the hoops without touching them. We saw some fantastic jumps - even some amazing star jumps.
Next up we took our bean bags for a walk - balancing them on different parts of our bodies. We then used the bean bags to practice our throwing and catching skills.
Our final game was traffic lights. The children had to drive their cars in and out of the space looking and listening for the visual and verbal instructions.
We ended the session with some stretches to cool down after a very fun session. Thank you so much Rachael - we can't wait to see you again soon!
