We are thrilled to announce that our girls' hockey team finished **first** in the Tri County Hockey Tournament at Cookstown High School today! 🏆
The journey was intense, with the girls losing 1, drawing 2, and winning 4 games in the group stage. This stellar performance led them to a semi-final encounter with Bush Primary School. After a nail-biting game that ended 0-0, the girls triumphed 3-2 in the nerve-wracking run-ins.
In the final, they faced an impressive Woods Primary School team in a repeat of the McCloy Cup qualifier. Despite going 1-0 down, our girls equalised immediately and held on for a draw, leading to another round of run-ins. With cool heads and brilliant goalkeeping, they sealed the victory! 🥇
