On Hello Yellow Day P3 thought about the use of kind and unkind words.
They used two apples to talk to!
The first apple was handled gently and each child spoke a kind word to it. 😀
The second apple was treated to some squeezing, nail marks and not kind words.
Mrs Davis then dropped the second apple, rolled it along the floor and finally stood on it! 😟
After a few days both apples were cut into halves and it was clear to see the brown bruise on the second apple as well as the damage to its skin.
Words can affect our emotions and our mental health. Remember to use kind words!
