Our brilliant girls' netball team recently traveled to the Girls Netball NI Finals, and they put on a spectacular display of teamwork, sportsmanship, and determination.
The tournament began with two incredibly tough matches against Ballinderry and Tannaghmore. It took a little while for the team to find their rhythm, and they understandably felt a bit deflated after a challenging start. However, the true mark of champions is how they bounce back, and our girls did exactly that!
By their match against Fairview, they truly came into their own, playing beautiful netball in a nail-biting game that saw them narrowly defeated. They saved their absolute best for last, putting on a fantastic performance to secure a brilliant win against Methody Prep and ending the tournament on an absolute high!
The ultimate highlight of the day came during the grand presentation ceremony. To cap off an amazing season of hard work, our girls stood tall to be officially awarded their shiny medals and the big trophy as the Tyrone Area League Champions! 🥇🏆
A massive achievement like this doesn't happen without incredible leadership. A special and heartfelt thank you goes to Mrs McGowan for her outstanding coaching, dedication, and endless effort. Her guidance and encouragement kept the girls motivated and inspired them to play their absolute best!
