Fun with friends again! 😀

30th Mar 2021

P3 have been doing lots of fun things with their friends since returning to school on 8th March.

They have been learning about keeping safe using sound, light and colour, thinking about places where it is safe to play and about people they can trust.

They enjoyed the story of Little Lumpty who lived in the land of Dumpty and admired Humpty Dumpty so he decided to climb the high wall too. He changed his mind soon after he got to the top and had to be rescued to safety. 😟

The children also wrote new versions of the traditional Humpty Dumpty rhyme and found out that Humpty Dumpty was the name given to a cannon during the English Civil War!

They were also very excited to be acting like scientists when carrying out a Humpty Dumpty Egg Drop experiment. It was eggciting! 🐣
